Our principal consultants are members of CIBSE (The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers) and have a proven track record of delivery within this sector. CIBSE is an international body which represents and provides services to the building services profession. Our Sales and Design staff are members of the IOR (Institute of Refrigeration). The IOR was founded to promote the technical advancement of refrigeration and air conditioning in all its applications, in relation both to the perfection of its methods and the minimisation of its effects on the environment. Quality assurance is of paramount importance to Cool Technic. We have not only achieved iso 9001:2000 but are also wholly committed to complying and continually improving the effectiveness of the Quality Management System. Cool Technic is a full member of Construction Line and has passed all the strict pre-qualification criteria (as agreed with the DTI). Construction Line is a national register of qualified contractors and consultants. It is intended to be the sole source of competent firms for public bodies and other major specifiers procuring construction projects. Construction Line assesses the managerial, financial and technical standards of firms against standards set by the DTI. Investor in People is a prestigious award designed to recognise companies with a real commitment to its people. Cool Technic first expressed a commitment to Investor in 2004. In 2005 formal steps were taken by the HR & training functions to apply for assessment. We achieved the required standard in January 2008. Cool Technic are fully registered with the Gas Safe Register of engineers and are approved by the Health & Safety Executive in accordance with the Gas Safety (installation & use) Regulations. Cool Technic have full professional indemnity insurance for £1 million design and construction within our industry with HCC International. Cool Technic are an NIC EIC fully approved electrical contractor, who can install, maintain and test all electrical work associated with your site. All work is carried out by qualified electricians, in accordance with current IEE Regulations.
